TRUEGARD #2010 Heavy Duty Soluble Oil is a high performance soluble oil concentrate formulated for the customer with a wide range of heavy duty machining operations.  The incorporation of powerful lubricity additives improves part finish and extends tool life when machining steel, copper, and aluminum alloys.  Outstanding corrosion inhibition and bacterial resistance makes this a very popular product.

TRUEGARD #2010 Heavy Duty Soluble Oil forms a highly stable, non-irritating, bright white emulsion upon addition to water.

TRUEGARD #2010 Heavy Duty Soluble Oil finds use as a metalworking fluid for broaching, tapping, milling, drilling, turning, sawing, reaming, and griding.  In addition, TRUEGARD #2010 Heavy Duty Soluble Oil may be used in the undiluted form as a water washable stamping, punching, and drawing compound.

  • TRUEGARD #2010 is formulated for a wide range of heavy duty machining operations including broaching, tapping, milling, drilling, turning, sawing, reaming, and grinding. It can also be used in its undiluted form as a water washable stamping, punching, and drawing compound, making it a versatile choice across multiple shop processes.

  • TRUEGARD #2010 is formulated to work with steel, copper, and aluminum alloys. Its powerful lubricity additives are specifically designed to improve part finish and extend tool life when machining these materials.

  • TRUEGARD #2010 is added to water to form a highly stable, bright white emulsion - meaning the concentrate should be introduced into the water (not the other way around) to ensure proper emulsification. Specific dilution ratios are detailed in the product data sheet available from the vendor.

  • The refractometer factor (1.1) is a correction multiplier used to determine the true concentration of the coolant mixture from a refractometer reading. You multiply your refractometer reading by 1.1 to get the actual coolant concentration in the sump, allowing you to accurately monitor and maintain the correct working dilution.

  • Yes, the product is formulated with outstanding corrosion inhibition and bacterial resistance, both of which are key factors in extending sump life, protecting machine components, and reducing maintenance intervals in heavy duty machining environments.

  • Yes, TRUEGARD #2010 can be applied in its undiluted concentrate form as a water washable stamping, punching, and drawing compound. This makes it suitable for metal forming operations in addition to its standard use as a diluted metalworking coolant.
