Residual dirt, grease, oil, and bacteria left in a reservoir can contaminate fresh coolant, shortening its service life and degrading machining performance. After filling the reservoir with the diluted solution, allow it to recirculate at low pump speed for one hour. A final clean water rinse is strongly recommended after draining to remove residual dirt and cleaner solution before the machine is returned to service.

For severely fouled machines, the product instructions indicate that repeat applications of the cleaning solution may be necessary. Manual cleaning of inaccessible areas may also be required to fully dissolve and suspend accumulated dirt, grease, oil, and bacteria that recirculation alone cannot reach.
