TRUEGARD SUPERCOOL #4000 SERIES-PREMIUM PRODUCTS BIO STABLE

TRUEGARD SUPERCOOL #4095 contains chlorine to lubricate and cool the most severe machining applications.

TRUEGARD SUPERCOOL #4000 products are semi-synthetic coolant concentrates designed to outperform other coolants in every respect.

 Longevity

TRUEGARD SUPERCOOL #4000 products do not rely on sulfur containing emulsifiers, there-
by eliminating the source of food for odor causing bacteria.   These premium  coolants also will not emulsify hydraulic or way oil,  ensuring emulsion integrity and allowing easy tramp oil removal.

 Ultra Low Foaming

TRUEGARD SUPERCOOL #4000 products exhibit exceptionally low foaming tendencies, even under ultra high pressures.

  • Refractometer Factor: 1.1

  • SUPERCOOL #4095 is formulated with chlorine to provide lubrication and cooling in the most severe machining applications, such as heavy-duty cutting, threading, and forming operations where extreme-pressure performance is required. The chlorine additive helps protect tooling and workpieces under high cutting loads that lighter-duty coolants cannot handle.

  • A refractometer factor of 1.1 means you multiply your refractometer's Brix reading by 1.1 to obtain the true coolant concentration in the sump. This correction accounts for the optical properties of this semi-synthetic formula, so without applying it you would underestimate the actual concentration and risk running the coolant too lean or too rich.

  • Sulfur-containing emulsifiers act as a nutrient source for odor-causing bacteria; by eliminating them, SUPERCOOL #4095 cuts off that food supply and helps resist bacterial growth. The result is a more stable, longer-lasting coolant with reduced odor problems compared to conventional formulas that rely on sulfur emulsifiers.

  • This coolant will not emulsify hydraulic or way oil that leaks into the sump, which preserves the integrity of the coolant emulsion. Because tramp oil stays separate rather than becoming incorporated into the coolant, it can be easily skimmed from the surface, simplifying maintenance and extending sump life.

  • SUPERCOOL #4095 is engineered to exhibit exceptionally low foaming tendencies even under ultra-high pressures, making it well suited for machines equipped with high-pressure through-spindle or flood coolant delivery. Excess foam can reduce cooling effectiveness and cause sump overflow, so this characteristic is especially important in high-pressure setups.

  • The key distinction of SUPERCOOL #4095 within the #4000 series is its chlorine content, which delivers enhanced lubricity for the most demanding, severe-duty machining operations. If your application involves lighter or moderate cutting conditions, another #4000 series product without chlorine may be sufficient; choose #4095 when extreme-pressure lubrication is the primary requirement.
