Zebra Skimmers: Smart Disk Skimmer (Size 7rpm/12" High Temp Disk)

The Integrated Diverter™ is able to distinguish between tramp oil and oil that is suspended in coolant, so it selectively removes the unwanted tramp oil rather than wasting coolant in the process. This targeted approach helps reduce coolant loss during skimming, which is one of the key advantages of the Smart Disk Skimmer over standard disk skimmers.

The 1/2" High Temp disk is rated for temperatures up to 212°F, while the 1/4" High Impact disk is suited for lower-temperature environments up to 90°F. This variant comes with the 12" High Temp disk, making it the better choice for applications where higher coolant or fluid temperatures are expected.

A slower 2 rpm disk rotation picks up oil at a lower rate and can be better suited for applications with lighter oil concentrations or where more selective oil removal is needed, while the standard 7 rpm motor is designed to handle heavier oil loads more quickly. Both motors operate on 115V.

This skimmer is specifically designed for coolant sumps and is ideal for handling heavier oil loads. Its heavy-duty steel construction and continuous-duty, fan-cooled motor make it suitable for sustained industrial use.

The wipers carry a lifetime warranty, while the disks and body are covered by a 90-day warranty.

Both the standard 7 rpm motor and the optional 2 rpm motor run on 115V, so a standard single-phase outlet is all that is needed to operate this skimmer.
