Zebra Skimmers: Smart Disk Skimmer (Size 7rpm/18" High Temp Disk)

The Integrated Diverter™ is designed to distinguish between tramp oil and oil that is mixed into coolant. This allows the skimmer to selectively remove tramp oil without wasting coolant in the process, making it more efficient than conventional disk skimmers for coolant applications.

The 1/2" High Temp disk is rated for temperatures up to 212°F, while the 1/4" High Impact disk is suited for lower-temperature environments up to 90°F. This variant includes the 18" High Temp disk, making it the better choice when working with fluids at or near boiling temperatures.

Both motor options run on 115V. The standard 7 rpm motor (included with this unit) offers a faster disk rotation rate, which is generally better for handling heavier oil loads. The optional 2 rpm motor provides slower rotation and may be preferable in applications where lighter oil recovery or finer control is needed.

The wipers are covered by a lifetime warranty. The disks and body carry a 90-day warranty.

This skimmer uses a 115V motor, which is compatible with standard North American electrical outlets. No special wiring or voltage conversion is required for typical shop or industrial environments in North America.

The Smart Disk Skimmer features heavy-duty steel construction and a continuous-duty, fan-cooled motor, meaning it is designed to run for extended periods without overheating — making it well suited for ongoing use in production or machining environments.
