Oil Only absorbents are made from hydrophobic polypropylene fibers that attract and lock in oil-based fluids while actively repelling water and other aqueous liquids. This makes them ideal for use on wet surfaces or directly on water, where you need to capture oil without absorbing the surrounding water.

Ultrasonically bonded High-Loft polypropylene fibers are fused together without stitching or adhesives, which gives the pad outstanding tensile strength so it won't shred or fall apart during use or when saturated. This also preserves the loft structure that drives the superior absorbency.

One roll yields 200 pads from the 30" x 150' length, making each pad approximately 30" x 9" when cut to equal size. This gives you flexibility to size each pad to the spill area rather than using more material than needed.

The product is described as suitable for the vast majority of oil-only spill situations, covering common petroleum-based and hydrocarbon fluids such as motor oil, hydraulic fluid, fuel, and lubricants.
