Lint deposits can contaminate surfaces and leave residue, which is especially problematic in automotive and precision cleaning applications. Oil Eater's Fine Fiber Pads minimize linting through small-diameter, densely woven polypropylene outer layers and an ultrasonically bonded construction that keeps all three layers securely fused without adhesives.

The pad consists of two outer layers of fine, densely woven polypropylene fibers ultrasonically bonded to a high-loft meltblown core. The meltblown core provides increased surface area for capturing and holding fluids, while the woven outer layers add durability and reduce fiber shedding during use.

Ultrasonic bonding uses high-frequency vibrations to fuse the pad layers together rather than relying on adhesives or stitching, creating a seamless and strong bond. This prevents delamination during use, which keeps the pad structurally intact and further limits linting.

Polypropylene is a synthetic material that naturally resists many oils and chemicals and does not absorb water the way cotton does, making it better suited for oil and solvent-based cleaning. It also inherently generates less lint than natural fiber alternatives.

Each roll is 30" wide and 150 feet long and yields 200 pads, which works out to approximately 9 inches per pad along the length. This helps buyers estimate coverage and plan how many rolls are needed for their application.

These pads are designed for vehicle cleaning applications but their low-lint, three-layer polypropylene construction makes them well-suited for any task where surface contamination from fibers is a concern, such as wiping down painted panels, glass, or machinery where cleanliness is critical.
