THE ULTRA-CONTAINMENT BERM, MODULAR MODEL (AKA "GORILLA BERM"), HAS THE ABILITY TO DO SOMETHING THAT NONE OF OUR OTHER BERMS CAN DO- CHANGE ITS DIMENSIONS BY USING 6-FOOT LONG POLYMER COATED, FOAM BLOCKS FOR ITS WALL STRUCTURE, THE GORILLA BERM CAN VERY QUICKLY AND EASILY BE RESIZED TO OTHER SHAPES AND SIZES TO MEET OTHER REQUIREMENTS. THE FOAM BLOCKS ALSO ALLOW THE MODULAR MODEL CONTAINMENT BERM TO BE DRIVEN IN AND OUT OF WITHOUT ANY MANUAL OPERATION OF THE WALLS. THE HEAVY-DUTY FOAM COMPRESSES TO ALLOW TRUCKS AND OTHER VEHICLES TO DRIVE INTO THE UNIT AND QUICKLY RETURNS TO ITS NORMAL STATE WHEN THE WEIGHT IS REMOVED. THE TRIANGULAR SHAPED, POLYMER-COATED FOAM SUPPORT BLOCKS ARE USED WITH REBAR (NOT INCLUDED) TO PROVIDE SIDEWALL STRUCTURE.   • This is a corner section only and is one component of the Ultra-Containment Berm Modular Model system (also known as the "Gorilla Berm"). Additional straight wall sections are needed to build out a complete berm enclosure.

  • Rebar is not included. The triangular, polymer-coated foam support blocks feature molded slots on top designed to hold rebar, which must be sourced separately to provide the sidewall structure.

  • Yes. The heavy-duty foam walls compress under the weight of trucks and other vehicles, allowing drive-in and drive-out access without any manual operation of the walls. The foam quickly returns to its normal shape once the weight is removed.

  • Yes. The modular system uses 6-foot-long polymer-coated foam blocks as the wall structure, allowing the overall berm to be quickly resized and reshaped to meet different containment requirements — something fixed-wall berm designs cannot do.

  • This berm is designed for spill containment and container storage applications, providing secondary containment around vehicles, equipment, or stored containers to capture leaks and spills.
