THE ULTRA-CONTAINMENT BERM®, MODULAR MODEL (AKA "GORILLA BERM"), HAS THE ABILITY TO DO SOMETHING THAT NONE OF OUR OTHER BERMS CAN DO- CHANGE ITS DIMENSIONS BY USING 6-FOOT LONG POLYMER COATED, FOAM BLOCKS FOR ITS WALL STRUCTURE, THE GORILLA BERM CAN VERY QUICKLY AND EASILY BE RESIZED TO OTHER SHAPES AND SIZES TO MEET OTHER REQUIREMENTS. THE FOAM BLOCKS ALSO ALLOW THE MODULAR MODEL CONTAINMENT BERM TO BE DRIVEN IN AND OUT OF WITHOUT ANY MANUAL OPERATION OF THE WALLS. THE HEAVY-DUTY FOAM COMPRESSES TO ALLOW TRUCKS AND OTHER VEHICLES TO DRIVE INTO THE UNIT AND QUICKLY RETURNS TO ITS NORMAL STATE WHEN THE WEIGHT IS REMOVED.   • Yes. The heavy-duty foam walls compress under the weight of trucks and other vehicles, allowing them to drive in and out without any manual operation of the walls. Once the vehicle's weight is removed, the foam quickly returns to its normal upright state.

  • Yes. Because the wall structure is built from individual 6-foot long polymer-coated foam blocks, the berm can be quickly and easily resized or reshaped to meet different containment requirements — a capability not shared by other berm designs in the UltraTech lineup.

  • Rebar is not included with this berm. The triangular-shaped, polymer-coated foam support blocks feature molded-in slots on top that accept rebar, which secures the blocks in place and provides the sidewall structure. You will need to source the rebar separately before assembling the unit.

  • The walls are constructed from 6-foot long, triangular-shaped, polymer-coated foam blocks. The heavy-duty foam is designed to withstand repeated vehicle drive-overs, compressing under load and rebounding to its full height once the weight is removed.
