DESCRIPTION

  • Today's manufacturing environment requires products that are capable of performing in many applications. Hocut 795MP-RHS is a versatile coolant for machining and grinding of ferrous and nonferrous metals. It is formulated to keep machine tool surfaces clean while having excellent residual fluid film corrosion protection. Its low foaming potential makes it suitable for use on high pressure applications. It is especially suited for machining cast iron and powdered metal parts without forming sticky residues that are common with these materials.
  • Hocut 795MP-RHS Coolant is formulated with a combination of ingredients that provide a greater resistance to microbial degradation of the fluid.
  • Field tests have shown that the synergies of the components in this product will reduce the frequency of sump side additions of antimicrobial agents.
  • Hocut 795MP-RHS Coolant is compatible with hard water, is clean running and biostable, which assures long, odor-free sump life. It provides corrosion protection without staining and affords good lubrication for machine ways and indexing mechanisms. Low foaming characteristics make Hocut 795MP-RHS an excellent choice for gun drilling and other high pressure applications.

Frequently asked questions

Find answers to common questions about our products and services
  • HOCUT 795MP-RHS is formulated for use with all metals, including automotive grade cast aluminums, ferrous and nonferrous metals, cast iron, and powdered metal parts. It is specifically noted to machine cast iron and powdered metal parts without forming the sticky residues that are common with those materials.

  • For machining operations, mix at a ratio of 10:1 to 20:1 (water to concentrate). For grinding applications, use a leaner mix of 20:1 to 25:1. The correct ratio for your specific application will affect performance, so staying within these recommended ranges is important.

  • Use a refractometer to check concentration. HOCUT 795MP-RHS has a refractometer factor of 1.7 — simply multiply your refractometer reading by 1.7 to obtain the actual emulsion concentration as a percentage.

  • Yes — its low foaming characteristics make HOCUT 795MP-RHS an excellent choice for gun drilling and other high-pressure applications where excessive foam would otherwise cause problems.

  • Under normal storage conditions, the recommended shelf life is six months. In the sump, the product is formulated for long, odor-free life thanks to its biostable formula and resistance to microbial degradation, which also reduces the need for frequent antimicrobial sump-side additions.

  • Yes, HOCUT 795MP-RHS is also available in 55 gallon drums for higher-volume needs.
