55 GAL DRUM Heavy-duty machining and grinding semi-synthetic coolant for use with all metals including automotive grade case aluminums.

DESCRIPTION

  • Today's manufacturing environment requires products that are capable of performing in many applications. Hocut 795MP-RHS is a versatile coolant for machining and grinding of ferrous and nonferrous metals. It is formulated to keep machine tool surfaces clean while having excellent residual fluid film corrosion protection. Its low foaming potential makes it suitable for use on high pressure applications. It is especially suited for machining cast iron and powdered metal parts without forming sticky residues that are common with these materials.
  • Hocut 795MP-RHS Coolant is formulated with a combination of ingredients that provide a greater resistance to microbial degradation of the fluid.
  • Field tests have shown that the synergies of the components in this product will reduce the frequency of sump side additions of antimicrobial agents.
  • Hocut 795MP-RHS Coolant is compatible with hard water, is clean running and biostable, which assures long, odor-free sump life. It provides corrosion protection without staining and affords good lubrication for machine ways and indexing mechanisms. Low foaming characteristics make Hocut 795MP-RHS an excellent choice for gun drilling and other high pressure applications.

Find answers to common questions about our products and services
  • HOCUT 795MP-RHS is formulated for use with all metals, including ferrous and nonferrous metals, automotive grade cast aluminums, cast iron, and powdered metal parts. It is specifically noted to machine cast iron and powdered metal without forming the sticky residues that are common with those materials.

  • For machining applications, the recommended use concentration is 10:1 to 20:1 (water to coolant). For grinding applications, use a leaner mix of 20:1 to 25:1.

  • Use a refractometer to take a reading, then multiply that reading by the refractometer factor of 1.7 to calculate the actual emulsion concentration as a percentage. This allows you to confirm the mix is within the recommended range without additional test equipment.

  • HOCUT 795MP-RHS is formulated with ingredients designed to provide greater resistance to microbial degradation, and field tests have shown that the combination of components reduces the frequency of sump-side additions of antimicrobial agents compared to conventional coolants.

  • Yes, its low foaming characteristics make it a strong choice for gun drilling and other high-pressure coolant delivery applications. It is also compatible with hard water, which is a common factor in high-pressure system performance.

  • Under normal storage conditions, the recommended shelf life for HOCUT 795MP-RHS is six months. It is also available in 5-gallon pails if a 55-gallon drum is more than your current needs require.
