Superla 21 White Oil is certified Kosher and Pareve. Superla White Oils are identified on the Canadian Food Inspection Agency Reference Listing of Accepted Construction Materials, Packaging Materials and Non-Food Chemical Products. This registration requirement was repealed by CFIA on July 2, 2014.
Superla 21 White Oil is registered by NSF and are acceptable as lubricants where incidental food contact may occur (H1) in and around food processing areas and as a release agent (3H) where direct food contact may occur. The NSF Nonfood Compounds Registration Program is a continuation of the USDA product approval and listing program, which is based on meeting regulatory requirements of appropriate use, ingredient review and labeling verification.
Superla White Oils 5, 7, 9 and 10 are authorized by the USDA for use on shell eggs as protecting oils in plants operating under the USDA voluntary shell egg grading program.
