  • The medium porosity Fritware® plate has a pore size of 45–90 microns, while the coarse porosity plate ranges from 90–130 microns. Choose the medium plate for finer particle retention and the coarse plate when filtering larger solids or when faster flow rates are the priority.

  • Yes. The Fritware® porous filter plate features a non-porous ring at its periphery that seals filter paper against the funnel wall, so you can use standard filter paper on top of the plate for additional filtration.

  • The removable hose barbed connector accepts 12.7 mm (1/2") I.D. tubing and threads into the 3/4" NPT bung on the funnel body.
