  • The perforated fixed plate is designed for coarse filtration and is compatible with both cloth and paper filters. The plate is made of 4.8mm (3/16") thick HDPE with 4.8mm (3/16") perforations on 11mm (7/16") centers, providing support for your chosen filter media.

  • Fritware® porous filter plates are available separately as either fixed or removable versions, in medium (45–90 microns) or coarse (90–130 microns) porosity. The Fritware® plates are 6.4mm (1/4") thick HDPE and include a non-porous ring at the periphery that seals filter paper when used, making them a versatile upgrade for more controlled filtration.

  • Both the perforated and Fritware® filter plates are rated for a maximum use temperature of 52°C (125°F) and a minimum of -80°C (-112°F), making the funnel suitable for cold filtration applications as well as standard lab conditions.

  • The funnel features a removable hose barbed connector that accepts 12.7mm (1/2") I.D. tubing. The connector threads into a 3/4" NPT bung on the funnel, making it straightforward to attach to standard vacuum lines.

  • The F36820-0118 funnel trowel is used to quickly and efficiently smooth fissures that can appear in the filter cake during the filtration process. It is a separately available accessory and is not included with this funnel.
