The coarse porosity plate ranges from 90–130 microns and allows faster flow rates for larger particles. Choose medium for tighter filtration and coarse when higher throughput with larger particulates is the priority.

Yes. The Fritware® porous filter plates feature a non-porous ring at the periphery that seals filter paper against the plate, allowing you to use standard filter paper on top of the plate for additional filtration.

The removable hose barbed connector accepts 12.7mm (½") I.D. tubing and threads directly into the ¾" NPT bung on the funnel body, making it compatible with standard laboratory vacuum tubing in that size.

Both the funnel and the Fritware® filter plates are rated for use between -20°C (-4°F) and a maximum of 52°C (125°F). Applications requiring temperatures outside this range are not recommended.
