  • The 25.35L HDPE secondary container provides an added layer of spill and leak protection around the primary 20L carboy. The system also incorporates a secondary air lock tube that actively helps prevent accidental over-filling of the primary waste container during use.

  • The 11" funnel stem extends deep into the waste container, reducing the air gap above the liquid surface and limiting evaporation of hazardous solvents. When the funnel is not in use, a gasketed lid secured by a sturdy positive latch keeps the assembly tightly closed and fumes contained.

  • The 8" ECO Funnel holds up to 2000 mL of liquid in the funnel bowl before it drains into the 20L carboy below. This buffer capacity allows you to pour waste from multiple sources in succession without waiting for each pour to fully drain, making it practical for high-throughput lab environments.

  • The large particle filter is built into the funnel interior to intercept stir bars and other solid items before they enter the waste container, preventing blockages. It is removable, allowing it to be cleaned or cleared as needed.

  • The ECO Funnel, the 20L carboy, and the 25.35L secondary container are all constructed from HDPE (high-density polyethylene). HDPE offers broad general chemical resistance, but compatibility with your specific waste solvents should be confirmed before use to ensure safe and appropriate application.
