MOBILE HEAVY DUTY CART SYSTEM - 55 GALLON DRUMS THIS HEAVY-DUTY MOBILE CART SYSTEM IS DESIGNED FOR USE WITH 55 GALLON DRUMS. THE SYSTEM INCORPORATES AN INDUSTRIAL GRADE PNEUMATIC 3:1 RATIO DRUM PUMP, RATED AT 5 GPM AT 120 PSI MAX OPERATING PRESSURE. THIS PUMP CARRIES A 5 YEAR WARRANTY AND IS SUPPLIED COMPLETE WITH BUNG ADAPTER AND AIR FILTER/REGULATOR WHICH IS TYPICALLY SET AT 80 ¿ 90 PSI FOR NORMAL OPERATION. PUMP DISCHARGE IS VIA A ½" X 12' INDUSTRIAL GRADE HOSE AND ELECTRONIC DIGITAL METER/CONTROL HANDLE. THE CONTROL HANDLE IS A "BALANCED" VALVE DESIGN WHICH ALLOWS THE OPERATOR TO EASILY CONTROL FLUID FLOW WITHOUT THE ANNOYING SUDDEN ON/OFF TYPICALLY SEEN IN MANY OTHER CONTROL HANDLES. THE METER IS POWERED BY TWO FIELD REPLACEABLE AA BATTERIES WHICH TYPICALLY LAST TWO YEARS OR MORE. UNITS OF MEASURE DISPLAYED ON THIS METER CAN BE EASILY CHANGED FROM QUARTS, GALLONS, PINTS OR LITERS. THE METER INCORPORATES A RESETTABLE BATCH TOTAL AND A NON-RESETTABLE CUMULATIVE TOTAL, ACCURACY IS APPROXIMATELY +/- 0.5% OVER A FLOW RANGE OF 0.3 ¿ 8 GPM. THE CART IS CONSTRUCTED FROM HEAVY GAUGE STEEL AND IS POWDER COATED FOR LONG LASTING DURABILITY. CART DESIGN INCLUDES A HANDY TOOL TRAY AND DRUM BAR TO SECURE THE DRUM ONTO THE CART. A CONVENIENT BRACKET AND DRIP CUP PROVIDE A HANDY PLACE TO STORE THE PUMP DURING DRUM CHANGE. LARGE 9" DIAMETER WHEELS WITH BALL-BEARINGS, 7" DIAMETER SWIVELS AND TOW BAR ALLOW EASY MANEUVERABILITY.

Frequently asked questions

Find answers to common questions about our products and services
  • The pneumatic drum pump operates at a maximum of 120 PSI, and normal operation is typically set at 80–90 PSI. The system comes supplied with a bung adapter and an air filter/regulator, so you do not need to source those separately — just connect it to a standard shop air supply.

  • The balanced valve design allows you to smoothly modulate fluid flow rather than dealing with a jarring on/off action common in many other control handles. This gives the operator more precise control during dispensing, reducing the risk of spills or overfilling.

  • The electronic digital meter is accurate to approximately +/- 0.5% across a flow range of 0.3 to 8 GPM. It can display in quarts, gallons, pints, or liters, and the unit of measure can be easily changed to suit your workflow.

  • The meter includes both a resettable batch total — useful for tracking individual dispenses — and a non-resettable cumulative total for overall usage records. It runs on two AA batteries that typically last two years or more and are field replaceable, so there is no need to send the unit in for service.

  • The cart includes a drum bar to secure the 55-gallon drum during transport and dispensing. A dedicated bracket and drip cup provide a designated storage spot for the pump while you swap drums, helping keep the work area clean and organized.

  • The cart is equipped with large 9" diameter ball-bearing wheels, 7" diameter swivel casters, and a tow bar, all of which combine to make it easy to maneuver a loaded 55-gallon drum across a shop floor. The heavy-gauge steel frame is powder coated for long-lasting durability.
