    • Freeze Protection: Used to lower the freezing point of water, it's commonly used as a de-icer for airport runways and aircraft. It is also designed for use in hydronic systems for freeze and corrosion protection.
    • Automotive: Commonly used as a substitute for Ethylene Glycol in low toxicity and environmentally safe antifreeze
    • Food & Beverage: Used in frozen foods, ice cream and other frozen desserts.
    • Polymers: The majority of Propylene Glycol is used as chemical feedstock, during the production of unsaturated polyester resins - which produce sheet molding, printer toner and fiberglass wall panels.
    • Smoking: Used as a key preservative in tobacco cigarettes, as well as a major ingredient in eLiquids for E-Cigarettes.
