Mix 1 part TRUEGARD Machine Cleaner with 20 parts fresh water before use. Pre-mixing into fresh water — rather than adding concentrate directly to the machine — ensures the detergents and surfactants are properly activated for even cleaning throughout the reservoir and coolant lines.

Residual dirt, grease, oil, and bacteria left in a reservoir can contaminate fresh coolant, shortening its service life and degrading machining performance. TRUEGARD Machine Cleaner removes these contaminants and disinfects the system so the new coolant starts in a clean environment and lasts longer.

Yes. In addition to detergents and surfactants for cutting through grease and oil, the formula contains biocides specifically designed to kill bacteria in fluid reservoirs and coolant lines, not just remove visible soil.

After filling the reservoir with the diluted solution, allow it to recirculate at low pump speed for one hour. A final clean water rinse is strongly recommended after draining to remove residual dirt and cleaner solution before the machine is returned to service.

For severely fouled machines, repeat applications of the cleaning solution may be necessary. Manual cleaning of inaccessible areas may also be required to fully dissolve and suspend accumulated dirt, grease, oil, and bacteria that recirculation alone cannot reach.
